ACC to develop 3.4 Megawatt Solar Station for Swire Coca-Cola

26 January 2016

January 25th 2016, Luohe, PRC — Asia Clean Capital (“ACC”) today announced the signing of an agreement to provide a 3.4 megawatt rooftop solar system to Swire Coca-Cola at their Luohe bottling facility. Under the terms of the agreement ACC will invest 100% of the system cost and will provide the design, equipment, installation, and long-term system maintenance. Power produced by the system will be provided to Swire Coca-Cola at pre-agreed rates, assuring both upfront savings and savings over time.

In addition to operational savings, the 3.4 megawatt solar system will provide significant environmental benefits. Annually, the system will produce enough electricity to power over 10,000 homes, providing a carbon reduction equivalent to planting over 2.2 million trees.

“ACC is delighted to continue our cooperation with Swire” said Thomas Lapham, CEO of ACC. “Swire Group is a fantastic group of companies that are successful in a broad range of industries, and ACC looks forward to continuing to expand this mutually beneficial cooperation.”

Prior to the solar installation, ACC provided a 2,159 kilowatt ground-source heat pump system to the Swire Luohe plant, which is currently in operation. The heat pump system, as well as other sustainable infrastructure helped Swire Luohe attain LEED platinum accreditation, the first Coca-Cola plant worldwide to achieve this milestone.
