ACC provided one-stop energy service to COFCO and Coca-Cola 's joint-venture bottling plant located in Shijiazhuang, Hebei province. The 5.5MW distributed Solar PV system was installed on the roof of the main workshop. ACC invested 100% of system cost and handles the operation for the following 25 years.
Electricity from the solar system is provided to COFCO Coca-Cola at below-grid rates to ensure operational savings throughout the lifetime of the system. In addition to monetary savings, the 5.5 megawatt solar system assists in achieving sustainability goals. Over its lifetime, the system will save approximately 155,728 tons of CO2, or the equivalent of 66-million liters of gasoline.
