ACC provided one-stop energy service to SKF at their production Jiading facility in Shanghai. The 2.3MW distributed Solar PV system was installed on the roof of the main workshop. ACC invested 100% of the system cost and handles the operation during the contract period.
Electricity from the solar system is provided to SKF at below-grid rates to ensure operational savings throughout the lifetime of the system. In addition to monetary savings, the 2.3 megawatt solar system assists in achieving sustainability goals. Over its lifetime, the system will save approximately 50,000 tons of CO2, or the equivalent of 20-million liters of gasoline.
