Asia Clean Capital announced that it has finished Danone China Food & Beverage’s (Danone) second solar project located at Danone’s factory in Xi’an, one of the oldest cities in China. Asia Clean Capital invested 100 percent of the system costs and undertook the design, construction, and long-term system maintenance.

The 5.2 MW distributed solar system consists of rooftop solar projects and a solar carport. The system will save approximately 117,000 tons of CO₂, 45 tons of SO₂ and 150,252 tons of water consumption during its 25-year lifecycle.

After the Xi’an project, ACC will invest and build another two solar projects for Danone separately in Wuhan and Tangshan. Tang Hao, Senior Vice President of Asia Clean Capital, said “We are very happy to extend our partnership with Danone.
