Asia Clean Capital and Andritz Sign 1.6 Megawatt Solar Agreement

18 November 2015

Foshan, PRC—November 15th, 2015—Asia Clean Capital (“ACC”) today announced a 1.6 megawatt solar power supply agreement with The Andritz Group at their Foshan and Sanshui production facilities in Southern China. ACC will provide 100 percent of the system investment and will undertake the engineering, installation, and long-term maintenance of the system.

Electricity from the solar system will be provided to Andritz at below-grid rates to ensure operational savings throughout the system lifetime.

In addition to monetary savings, the 1.6 megawatt solar system will play a role in achieving Corporate Social Responsibility goals. Over its lifetime, the system will save over 48,000 tons of C02, or the equivalent of 20-million liters of gasoline.

“ACC is excited to kickoff this milestone cooperation project with Andritz” said Thomas Lapham, CEO of ACC. “The Andritz Group is a global market leader in supplying plants, equipment, and services to so many important industries, including hydropower, pulp and paper, metalworking, water treatment, and more.”

Mr. Lapham continued, “We aspire to exceed all expectations on these first two projects in Southern China and to work hard to potentially expand within Andritz Group’s more than 250 production sites worldwide.”
